ଆର୍ଜେଣ୍ଟିନାର ଅନ୍ୟତମ ଚ୍ୟାନେଲ କ୍ରୋନିକା ଟିଭିରେ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଶୋ ‘ସିମ୍ପସନ୍‌’ର ଏହି ‘ଆପୁ’ ଚରିତ୍ର ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ମୋଦିଙ୍କ ପହଞ୍ଚିବା ଖବରକୁ ‘ଆପୁ ଆରାଇଭ୍‌ସ’ ଭାବେ ଘୋଷଣା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା । ମୋଦି ଆର୍ଜେଣ୍ଟିନାର ରାଜଧାନୀ ବୁଏନସ ଆଇରେସରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବାପରେ ଏହି ଖବର ପ୍ରସାରଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ସୂଚନାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଯେ, ଆପୁ ଚରିତ୍ରଟି ‘ଷ୍ଟେରିଓଟାଇପ୍‌’ ବା ଗତାନୁଗତିକତାକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଇଥାଏ।

ଏହାଦ୍ୱାରା ଭାରତର ଅପମାନ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ଏଥିରେ କ୍ରୋଧିତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ସୋଶାଲ ମିଡିଆ ବ୍ୟବହାରକାରୀ। ଏପରିକି ଆର୍ଜେଣ୍ଟିନା ଲୋକେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାଙ୍କ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତିଙ୍କୁ ସମାଲୋଚନା କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଏହି ଅବାନ୍ତର ଜୋକ୍‌ ପାଇଁ ଭାରତୀୟଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା ମାଗିଛନ୍ତି।

This typecasting and stereotyping of people not in your country is what causes racial bias and hence racial problems. I’ll take it as a joke, but anyone with no context would only be figuring it out the wrong way.
